The Team


Ijeamaka Nwizu

inwizuIjeamaka Nwizu, founder and Principal Practitioner, obtained her Law Degree from Middlesex University, London in 1998 and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Her experience with Litigation and Corporate practice began in the firm of Chief Chris Uche (SAN). She continued active Litigation, Legislative Drafting and Arbitration as State Counsel in the Federal Capital Territory Administration from where she started the Legal Services department of Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company Limited as Deputy Manager, also serving for brief periods as Acting Company Secretary.


She was also engaged to start the Legal Department of the Abuja Technological Village, a free zone company. She is skilled in drafting Concession Agreements for Public Private Partnerships as well as drafting and negotiating Power Purchase agreements and Joint Venture agreements for Power Projects. Ijeamaka is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, UK and the Access to Justice Committee of the International Bar Association. She is proficient in both written and spoken French.


Her practice areas include Litigation, Arbitration, Energy, Company Secretarial and general Corporate Services, Joint Ventures, Public Private Partnerships, among others.



Muyiwat Abiola Giwa

Muyiwat Giwa Muyibat Abiola Giwa, obtained her Law Degree from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Her experience with Litigation and Corporate practice began in Lagos in the firm of Siji Soetan & Co, where she was engaged in active litigation, Arbitration, corporate and commercial law.


She is skilled in Litigation, Drafting Agreements, Negotiations and Arbitration matters and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, UK. Her practice areas include Litigation, Arbitration, Oil and Gas, Commercial and Corporate law among others.
